Okay so I was trying to reset my computer back to factory settings.

So this is what I did, I restarted my computer and tapped f10 and the left alt key until a loading screen appears, or you hear a beaping sound. And it goes to this thing called eRecovery something like that and it comes up with a error so I can't do it. It says "The exception unknow software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x10054192

Click on the Okay to terminate the program.

Why does it do this? Can anyone help?

Have you ever considered using the recovery tools that ACER has to offer? Usually these days, manufacturers will pre-install recovery software so that the user can easily burn or transfer the recovery data to either a USB pen drive or a DVD; the user will then have the power to restore their computer to factory settings.

Did you make Recovery discs?
If so, try using those. Enter your BIOS setup and set your CD/DVD drive your primary boot device, put in the first Recovery disc and reboot your PC.

If this doesn't work either and gives you the same error then something is wrong with your hardware and you're going to have to send it in for repair.
And if you don't have the Recovery discs then you are going to need a new copy of Windows.
