Most people who think they're "Cod Veterans" bless their hearts, will say Cod4, but I say Cod5. I mean, Cod4 campaign was so f*cking boring. Cod5 had an immense campaign, online was amazing (before mods of course) and the introduction of zombies.
Black Ops is similar, personally my favourite campaign and zombies was sick, but online was sh*t.
MW2 had amazing online, same as Cod4, but they had such boring campaigns it made me cry.

The original modern warfare,
back then no one knew they'd milk the franchise for all it was worth,
we just knew that an amazing modern combat game came out, with an unlock system very different and not copied like so many games those days.

I would say mw2 because i had so much fun on that game and still is one of my favs and cod went downhill after this game in my opinion
