I would go with the LG just because of the brand but that is just me...

Go with the BENQ. it is made for gaming, it is a great brand with good build quality. it has advanced modes which typcially regular monitors lack. go with the BenQ, you wont regret it.

I would go for LG, they do appear to be more reliable and generally have better quality of picture along with a longer life spam.
