So my xbox 360's disc tray broke and i want to replace it.
But since i have already opened my Xbox up i decided i would much rather just install a modded disc drive that way i could play games on discs that were not made for xbox 360s.
So if you have any tips or information on videos or stores about it, please let me know. (this will be an offline xbox)

in short, where can i buy a modded disc tray, or does anyone have videos of how to make one? will REP

Im not sure what you mean..

If you wish to flash your dvd drive so you can play back up/burnt games then you will need to first buy a dvd drive then swap the key,

Basically you need to buy a DVD drive the same as your old one, Send it away to get it flashed, A dvd drive will set you back around 30 pounds, Service around 15+P&p

When buying a dvd drive make sure its the same as your previous or it will not work

use what is called a Maximus lizard for flashing DVD drives. if you ship it to me I can do it for competitive pricing ( cheapest I have seen by 20 dollars) if you pay shipping and handling. I am however from the US. I saw the previous post stating prices in pounds. are you from the UK or USA or somewhere else? if interested in my service PM me. I also repair 3rrod, water cool, do case mods (cuts in case), and modify lights such as change power button lights and add LEDs in case to illuminate it. looking forward to hearing from you.
