if you want to remove it try putting it wired and then unplug it then leave it alone i guess

you cannot remove it?

You can change your ip to something weird and it will not connect you to psn

Also if your looking to go wired instead of wireless then do these steps..

you connect the ethernet cable to your router and then into your ps3. you then go to "settings" on your PS3, "Network settings", "Internet Connection settings", click "Easy", click "wired connection" then the rest should be done automatically
