This is an accepted alternative to the Big Bang.

This theory states that, unlike the Big Bang that began from singularity, our universe is one of a pair of Universes that collided.
The effect is that the universe is reset and expands for Billions of years.
[Much the same as we think of the Big Bang.]
It then contracts back into the Big Crunch. Where the Universes collide again and repeat the process infinitely.

Think of two A4 Pieces of paper, then Slowly move them towards each other, when they hit there is a release of energy on a quantum scale into the pieces of paper.
They inject matter into each other.

Now imagine this replicated with two universes.

Edit:

I've had some good feedback off my other topics and I really appreciate it.

I hope I can bring you more interesting and thought provoking topics in the future.

I see this as a major possibility. I'm not a religious person, so I also still wonder how the first one or two universes were created. It's crazy to think how many universes there could actually be.

Exactly. Why is it so far fetched to say that existence has always existed? There could be infinite universes side by side constantly hitting each other. We will probably never know but there is still a possibility.

Personally, I believe this theory.
It explains the beginning of the universe without invoking a creator.
That's good enough in my books.

Also if this theory is correct, traveling to others should be possible wouldn't you say? I'm not saying getting to them will be possible for humans, but just possible in general. If humans were to travel amongst them though, that the future of humans and aliens alike could bright and ever expanding. We could end up living in so many universes on many different planets. That type of technology and knowledge is very far in the future though, but still fun to think about it.

Well, this theory does come with a downside when you think of it like that.
Hypothetically, the matter inside the universe cannot leave it, hence why a big crunch occurs. It fills to capacity, so that means there's something stopping it from leaving.

So unless we found a way to make a ship that defies physics and could pass through this barrier, the only way we could cross universes would be when they collide and are temporarily connected. But this would have obvious problems if attempted.

It is possible though.

Ah, I see. Yea that would be a problem. I believe that we will one day be able to make a ship or object that defies what we know of physics. Do I have a theory on how? Not really, lol, but I do believe we will find a way. I believe if you have a certain type of material and have a certain type of charges or particles flowing through it or around it, it could potentially do things we have never seen or understood. Maybe a material we have yet to discover for there could be undiscovered materials on other planets. We are still learning about particles as well, so you never know. Just something I think about at times. Could be wrong, but hey, it's nice to think.

No arguments from me.

What do you think about the Ancient Alien theory? Have you heard of it? You mentioned Alien and human contact which makes me think you might have...?

I believe in that theory 100%. Not going into any religious topic, but I see where it fits into most, if not all, religions. There is proof through what ancient civilizations knew and what they built.... and then they just disappear without a trace? There is an ancient stone wall in a certain country that depicts every race of human, but there is an extra that isn't around here. It appears to have an elongated skull and large eyes, like the grey aliens are said to have. Things just fit togeher like that. King Tut and his sister also had elongated skulls. They knew about solar systems, outside of our own, that we are just now discovering with telescopes. They actually said, if I'm not mistaken, that they were from these places. They also built little replica models of the solar systems. I don't know how much more proof people want than all of that. I could go on all day about this subject, but I'm sure you know about it.

Haha, yes i do. I agree 100% as well.
The evidence is just too overwhelming.
I especially like the similarities between Gods across cultures that never had contact.

It is probably the most fascinating theory of Earths History in my opinion and more people really need to recognize it.

Instead, we get called crazy. Just typical human naivety I suppose...
