Description:

AutoPoster helps inexperienced users make and share bots easily. This program was designed for use with simple web forms that post to a website. With AutoPoster, you just enter the post variable names, and you can choose to have the user input values or you can set a value if the post value is constant. Although this may sound a little confusing, it's actually really easy. I'll teach you exactly how to use it in this tutorial.

What makes it so useful:

With many simple sites, you have to wait for a botmaker to make a bot. AutoPoster simplifies that botmaking process so anyone can do it. You don't need to know any programming languages, just how to use the basic functions of Tamper Data. You can then save a file from the bot you just made and share it with anyone you can want. They can open the file in AutoPoster and use the bot you just created! It basically makes creating and sharing bots a lot easier.

Examples of sites this bot can be used for:

Get Free Music!
...and a lot more, I'll add them as I find them

-Creating a bot with AutoPoster-

What you will need:
Firefox with Tamper Data
-OR-
Internet Explorer with Fiddler or any other program
During this post I will only cover using Tamper Data, however if you need help with anything else feel free to contact me.

Step 1

Find a site with a simple form that you need to fill out. The
Get Free Music! site is what I will be using as an example. As you can see, you just need to fill in the name, address, and e-mail address before submitting.

Step 2

Open up Tamper Data and click Start Tamper. When you have filled out the form, submit it. Tamper Data should ask if you want to tamper, so click Tamper.

Step 3

First of all you are going to want to enter the post URL, which is at the top of the window, into the text box labeled Post URL in AutoPoster.

Step 4

Then, for each of the items under Post Parameter Name, click the + sign in AutoPoster. Type in the parameter name, and then select whether you want to set the value or have the user enter the value.
* If the parameter was not one entered by the user on the form, set its value. For example, we only enter the name, address, and email address, so we can set the parameter value for "submit" to Submit.
* For the rest of the parameters, we are going to need to get the values from the user. To do this, click the enter the parameter name and check the button that says Get Value from User. In the box of values below, choose the description of what you want the user to enter, or you can create your own description by clicking Custom at the bottom.
****Note: If you plan on submitting the form multiple times, you will need to have a post variable with (Multiple) in its description (for example, Email Address (Multiple). The user will be able to enter multiple email addresses when the bot runs).

For example, see below:

The parameter "name" is entered by the user at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . You set the parameter name to "name", then select Get Value from User, with the description Full Name. When the bot is run, the user will be asked to input their full name.

Step 5

Set any advanced options by clicking Advanced. These options aren't needed for most programs, however in some cases they are necessary. Under advanced options you can set the title of the bot's window, how the bot gets cookies (if any), delay between submissions (in milliseconds), and proxies. Most of the time the bot will run just fine without changing any of the advanced options, but they are there if you need them.

Step 6

When you have finished entering all of the post items and setting the advanced options, click the Save icon. This will save your file so you can share it with others.

Step 7

You have now finished creating your first bot with AutoPoster. When you've saved the file, click the Click Here When Finished button. You will be able to see what the bot will look like and be able to run the bot if you want.

-Using others' bots-

Using bots others have made is easy. Simply open the .gapx file they saved in AutoPoster and click the Click Here When Finished button. You can then start running the bot.
