it's got a 2.0 ghz processor Athlon and its single core one time it took half an hour opening iTunes

Nope, on the contrary, his processor is probably one of the strongest components of his build. Your score is a 5.0 because you're not using an SSD as your boot drive, and in turn using a 7200rpm HDD which isn't nearly as fast.
