So, I've been working on flashing alll day, after trying almost everything I can find on the web, I've decided the issue must be an incompatible chipset, even though I've read that my chipset (Intel ICH7) is. But you know, before I purchase something like a VIA card for 25$ do you think there's anything else I could do?
Edit: BenQ drive, btw. The problem is that it seems like the computer just doesn't see the drive at all.

Thanks for the reply, I think I will. This entire thing has turned into a big headache. I was pretty excited thinking it'd be simple.

With a benq you can't just hook the drive to your pc and run jungleflasher as the drive will not be reconized, you will need to put the drive into mode 2. It would be easier to use this however: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

they wouldnt ip ban you, they would console ban. Also if your friend was banned for a flashed console, then he must of been pretty dam stupid, and played on like LT 1.0. Lt 3.0 and Lt2.0b are perfectly live safe.

Thanks for the reply! That seems a little pricey don't you think? I mean, I could send it in to a trusted seller for a RGH for cheaper than that.
