Fallout 3 is the GOTY of 2008 and one of my favorite games. The storyline was intense, compelling, and unique in all ways. Although it lacked aiming down the sights and graphics comparable to later and current games it was beautiful. The customization for your character was unbelievable and so many characters had vivid back stories. What you did in the game truly mattered to the outcome in the end.

Fallout New Vegas another beautiful game with some bad and plenty of good. The storyline was quite disappointing as well as the length and not being able to continue after The Second Battle of Hoover Dam. This game was made by Obsidian Entertainment and a few other companies then published by BGS. Bethesda did not make it for they were doing Skyrim and NV was allowed because Obsidian helped with Fallout 1 and 2 who Bethesda bought game rights from earlier. The first two were made by Interplay and Obsidian.

Aside from that it had many advances that others and I greatly enjoyed. The aiming down sights ability, hardcore mode for intense challenge even on Easy, disguises, factions and more.
The DLC in New Vegas was very nice as in Fallout 3 the best of the DLC was Broken Steel and The Pitt. New Vegas did very nice on the DLC, although Fallout 3 DLC is still very good as well. Furthermore, with not having to do an engine from start the developers were able to add many weapons and then ammo types such as: Hollow Point, Armor Piercing, Incendiary, etc. Campfires and the Follower Wheel were excellent additions as well. Lastly I would like to comment on the places to explore that had no particular quest involvement. The amount of locations unique and fun to explore were much more abundant in New Vegas than in Fallout 3

These are the major differences and comparisons of the two games.

Overall to me Fallout 3 is still superior being its' unique storyline that I love greatly.
So how about you TTG?

Fallout 3 was my favourite for the story line but Fallout New Vegas had the best map and had a lot more people to talk to

When I first got Fallout 3 I was always to scared to go into any buildings because of the ghouls
