You honestly believe they would connect several dates together purposely? Nah, they may be the government but they aren't idiots entirely.
Also, they said the picture was fake multiple times. That picture went around on facebook and websites at the time of his death.
He wasn't even killed in the country he operated out of, he was killed in a country who actually wanted him dead. There was people who saw and heard gunshots in the city that night and tweeted while it was happening.
They don't need to release "tests" or any data to the american civilians regarding terrorists. It was a top secret operation, you really think they are going to release DNA tests and pictures to the public? Lastly, they dumped him in the ocean because they didn't want his burial site to become a popular place to travel to. Would you want terrorists traveling to your country to visit the person they basically worshipped? What experts do you need to give a dead body? They did the testing they needed, there would be absolutely no point to hand the body over.

You are wrong about dumping him in the sea. They didn't want to disrespect any Muslims by keeping his body any longer, that would just make his followers even more angry. They dumped it at sea to make sure that they didn't upset any followers of him, causing them to maybe plan another attack.
