It doesn't take away their rights though. When the police officer told them to leave, they left. But he just decided to abuse his power and arrest the kid.

If the cop car was bigger I would say arrest them all for trespassing. Maybe arresting the kid will teach him not to do it again. Look at it in a positive way.
