I wouldnt of shot the dog, I probably would of kicked it in the head, Also, The people saying they should of killed the dog, Thats sick, even though it won't be suffering, Your killing a mans only friend. You wouldn't like it If your dog got shot,With a chance of still living, then they kill it to put it out it's misery. Also would you just let the dog attack you?

benjiii96 wrote Police have a right to do what needs to be done.

What if that was you on the floor?

Its a pit bull also, they're aggresive dogs.

So your saying just go give someone a badge and a gun and let them just shoot s hit up? You dumbass, Not all pit bulls are agressive half of my family have English pitt bulls Not a single one of them are agressive. THAT dog was raised well. Each and every dog grows effection to their owner. If their owner is in such danger it would protect it, just as a human being would too. If you had a dog that was in trouble what would you do? You would save it, because you have grown effection for that dog, Same as what your dog would do for you. This was beyond unnecessary, and that police officer should be let off the force and back to training. Plus if you watch closly He was shooting in the direction of other people, what if he missed and the bullet ricochet'd and injured a harmless bystander.

Frog wrote I gotta agree with Soviet. I mean I have two points of view. It was an emergency to get to the man and the dog was preveting them which could of cost the man his life. So the shooting (or even tackling) of the dog was called for. However once the dog was shot the police just did nothing. So what could of been passed as a viable action to save a mans life was wasted as they just left the man there and shot the dog for nothing. I do think people over-reacted a lot though...

Your sick, that dog is small and would of done no damge, if you think like that your a SICK IN THE HEAD!

There are other ways to control an animal. They do not need to die.
