Im honestly just trying to say that he should Save up and get a computer later on. The parts you could get with 400 probably aren't as good as if he had another 200-300. So if he saved up for a little while and tried for Christmas time he would get a better pc.

Duh, adding more money gets you a higher-end computer. I work wonders with low-budget builds anyway.

Lol Im truly sorry about that, I was wrong Lol. He so what do you guys think of Ibuypower? Technically since you can customize all the different parts you put in. isn't that a little different from a pre built computer? Even though they build it...

You're still overpaying by quite a bit and restricting your part choices. Better than HP, Asus, Dell, etc. for prebuilt, but still not good.
