My parents are divorced and i go to my dads house 1 week then my moms for 1 week, i want a laptop so i can bring it back and forth not just leave it at one house.

The T430 has far better build quality, pixel density, battery life, reliability, upgrade-ability, durability, design, and display quality. The Y570 performs ~10% better in the graphics department with a better CPU. I hate recommending workstation graphics for gaming, but everything else makes it almost worth it.

No. The ones I recommended will both perform better and have better "intangibles."
