Hi TTG

Like many people on here I got my GCSE Results yesterday but have some questions whether or not I should

Get a remark on two papers.

English Literature - I got 157 UMS = A but 160 UMS = A*

And

Psychology - I got - 156 UMS = B but 160 UMS = A

I don't really understand UMS, so any help is appreciated

Thanks

The chance is that even if they got remarked, they probably wouldn't gain that many marks, so you might as well just stick with what you have got as they are good grades anyway.

I thought that as well, but the UMS aren't the same as marks apparently.

Well I don't see why you wouldn't send them off for a remark.

If they come back after they've been remarked a lower grade, you'll keep your higher one so it's obvious you should.

Good luck.
