hey guys i have pre-orderd borderlands 2 but i was wondering if it was worth buying the first one

Yes in my opinion the achievements are simple to get and would only take a week or so

borderlands 2 is bigger and better so it aint worth paying 15 or $15 for a game that has a way better sequal coming in less than a month... you wouldn't buy fifa 12 if fifa 13 came out :L

The difference with Fifa is that there are more Fifa's out than COD, and they are all exactly the same.

Borderlands 1 is a great game, one of my favourites. I would recommend you buying it, as it will give you a feel for borderlands.
