1. Use the best guns in the game! The ACR, Type 95 and MP7 are the best three guns in the game by far because of their high damage and low recoil.

2. Change your button layout to Tactical and learn how to drop-shot effectively. This will switch your melee and crouch/prone button around, making it easier to drop-shot opponents. It is so effective because when you lay prone whilst shooting the opponent will be shooting at air rather than your body, making you win the gunfight.

3. Use the focus proficiency. Focus minimizes the flinch you receive from being shot at by 50%, keeping your shots on target and thus allowing you to win the gunfight.

4. Use Rapid Fire on your SMGs. This increases the amount of bullets you can dish out on enemies and thus will mean that you can deal more damage than they can. It is especially good on the PP90M1.

5. Use flash/stun grenades effectively. You have a much higher chance of winning the gunfight if your opponent is flashed or stunned as they will be unable to move or see you, allowing for an easy kill. Quickdraw Pro is especially helpful for this tactic.

6. Use Stalker Pro. Stalker Pro is an insanely good perk for winning gunfights, as it allows you to pre-aim around corners with your sights raised, thus taking enemies off guard and having a higher chance of winning the gunfight.
