Like I said earlier, the sentence can be extended. Although I cant guarantee it, I am confident he will end up serving life in prison. Based on the Norwegian legal system though, there is always the remote chance he will be free in 21 years.

Another thing to realize is that he wanted to go to jail. If you have been following the case recently, he stated that he wanted to be tried as sane and go to prison rather than a mental institution.

Personally, I feel that the Death Penalty should have been an option, but it is not legal in Norway. No human interaction for 30+ years is tough on the mind. As I said earlier, he is not getting out.

Yep, he was given way too much media exposure which is what he wanted. The man himself is sane, I have no doubts about his mental health. It's his political (perhaps religious too) views which are deemed insane, he was a right-wing christian extremist who thought that my country was being taken over by muslims (look up eurabia conspiracy theory). He can rot away in prison for all I care now, I don't want to hear about it anymore. So long as the people are safe (low crime country anyway) is what matters now.

I agree. Honestly someone ho's "Insane" wouldn't have been able to plan the attach the way he did.

He should have to spend the rest of his days locked up in a cell and once a day some big muscly guy should be allowed to come in, beat his ass then bum him. Not to be weird or anything, but that is some punishment.....

They usually give people like this Max Security where they are rarely around anyone.

That doesn't teach them a lesson. that just makes things too easy. Im not against the death penalty, but in a case like this, he should suffer, not die.

Why don't they just simply torture him in the worst ways possible, and give him the slowest death possible
