Question about the monitors. 20" monitors don't come in 1080p on Newegg, and three decent 21.5" monitors will come to more than $400, which is 40% of your budget. You won't be able to play BF3 across all three of them with a $600 build. Even less with peripherals. Two monitors would be OK because you'd only play on one of them and the other would be used for other things, but three is not something I would do with lower-end 21.5" monitors. I COULD work one of the Korean monitors in (See the section on them in the topic), but playing BF3 at the native resolution (2560 x 1440) on a $600 build would not be ideal either. Also consider the potential problems with these monitors.

So what do you want? Personally I think a single 23-24" monitor would be the best fit for this build.

Alright then just 1 24" Monitor, I'll just use my laptop for other sites while gaming.

Frustrating build. To get it to $1000 after all the promos and rebates, I would've had to make huge cuts that I don't think are worth it. You could get a cheaper keyboard and mouse, but I place a lot of importance on those because they make the experience so much better. Included a red LED fan for the front of the case to replace the blue one. I was able to fit a 3570K, 8GB RAM, and a 7870 in, but only since I went over budget. If this is too much, tell me and we'll decide what's best. For $50, you're preventing a big drop in performance.

The 7870 plays BF3 perfectly.

When we miss things it's because they get buried by spam, people quoting huge posts, and conversations. It would be nice to have a seperate topic for stuff like that and keep this one exclusive to request posts and completed builds.
