This will play Skyrim perfectly maxed. Great all around, but I compromised on the keyboard simply because Scan carried no good budget boards right now. 8GB RAM, a great PSU that will allow for upgrades, an mobo with SATA III and USB 3 that will be in stock when you buy, 500 GB of storage at 7200 RPM, the i3 that's perfect for Skyrim, and a 23" monitor (forget 20"). Great stuff!

Don't post here if it's not a request or completed build. Also please don't quote the build post without spoiling, it's huge. Posting my response here:

Budget & Currency: $600 CAD

Screen Size: 14-17"

I can't believe I'm being forced to do this, but my friend needs a laptop, $1000 to spend, and I can't convince him otherwise. I don't know laptops, so I came here.

>>>>LAPTOP RECOMMENDATION REQUEST FORM<<<<

Budget & Currency: $1,000 (US Dollars)

Screen Size: 15 inch preferred, 17 inch is fine though.

Software: GFX Programs: Photoshop, C4D, etc. Games (not expecting to max out anything): CoD 4, MW2, Skyrim.

Details: I wish he wanted a desktop.

This will do everything you want perfectly. CoD and Minecraft are a breeze and you'll even be able to play BF3 very well on this card. It's a pretty well-balanced build!

Keyboard is on Amazon because Scan cannot into keyboards. Extremely well-balanced build that will play much more than just Minecraft. Solid build for the price, very well-balanced.

$735 after promo code

How's that look? Splurged on the case, but it's a deal with that motherboard combo. RAM overclocks like no other, see the section in the topic. Might look funky if you have a different 560 in there already, haha!
