Nobody said we were evolved from monkeys. Perhaps we were evolving alongside apes while we were a simaler but different species.

What do stars have to do with evolution? No one said we evolved from apes. Darwin said humans are ape-like, not an evolution of apes. I do believe in evolution. Some traits of living things change little by little until it's a different species.

Who says our ancestors are from this planet? I believe in the ancient astronaut theory which could explain the missing link. There is already significant proof they were here in the past, so why can't that be our origin?

I'm assuming you think that there should only be one type and once it has been evolved out of it should go extinct? If we did evolve from monkeys, then monkeys do not all have to go extinct just because another kind of monkey. Us.

Evolution fluctuates. Sometimes it happens quickly, some times it takes millions of years. We still have an appendix because we had an herbivorous antecedent at some stage of our evolution. The organ just hasn't evolved yet.

I would agree, except we have brains. The brain allows us to learn and adapt to survive. Now, survival has become so easy that we use the brain to collect knowledge and advance socially and technologically.

I think the "humans evolved from apes" part he was trying to say EVERY ape should have evolved into a human. For a successful evolution, that does not have to happen. Only a small number need evolving, then have them reproduce amongst each other.
