i play on a 26 inch LCD TV with my Xbox. I have a 26 Inch monitor and a 24 ich monitor (double) for my computer. And have many TVs around they house ranging from 32 inches to 60 inches.

I use the TV as a monitor + xbox TV thing
(i hook my laptop up to the TV through VGA connection, my laptop can play skyrim on high with no lag, so i don't complain ;))
