I'm sorry but we will never leave Iraq.

That country will never see peace. So witch means we will never leave.

The press just wants you to believe that we left Iraq.

My brother ( He is a captain in the Army ) is still over in Iraq. So he would know.

Anyways OT: Gas is like 2.30 something where i'm at. xD

Iraq has been stable for 1000s of years.

That's the United Nations job, not Americas job.

I know the US is still in Iraq, but they "said" that they where withdrawing.

Whisper wrote Its because of the most recent oil fire, so the foreign companies are trying to save their butt by jacking up the prices. And the funny thing is, is that the United States has much more oil reserves than in the middle east, but refuses to tap them.

They wont tap them bcuz theoil here is dirty and to clean the oil here will cost more money than to get at others!

Price is inflated by speculation and high cost of crude (greed) and tax added to the product cost, and stock sales increasing the price. It is not for cost of production or supposed shortage. When I started driving in the 1960's the cheapest gas was 23 cents per gallon, and average price was 32 cents for 100 octane gasoline. The highest Union 76- "Royal Triton" was 47 cents and it was more than 100 octane.
