i want to pre-order the game but i don't know if theres going to be a hardened or prestige edition to wait for? is there going to be either of them for black ops 2?

Depending if you pre-order it at EB/ Gamestop you can preorder now and upgrade your pre-order to an edition for a little extra. I think there will be a prestige edition due to the new leaked picture of the care package crate.

There will most likely be a prestige edition and hardened. There is with most of the newer CoD games.
