In the US we have gamestop. We can go in and say we want to upgrade our order. We take in our receipt to show proof of purchase. We then have to pay them the remainder of the money we owe and we are upgraded instantly. Since you live in the UK then I am assuming you preordered it from GameStation. Since both Gamestop and Gametstation are the same stores but just in different countries, then I believe you will be able to do the same.
