You wouldn't really enjoy Minecraft on that laptop. If you have that money, you should really invest in a desktop, but they also will help you find a laptop herehttps://www.thetechgame.com/Forums/t=3809045/the-custom-pc-topic-builds-requests-only.html

Jackarus wroteRight, r00t removed the laptop section. I'll recommend something for you, get a Thinkpad. You're off to college and you need the best laptop out there, which is IMO the Thinkpad. What's your budget/currency?itsMichael wrote You wouldn't really enjoy Minecraft on that laptop. Alright, I am almost completely unfamiliar with low-end laptop components, but I gave it a shot. I'll tell you what bumped the price higher than your budget. First, I popped in the i5, just for extra power. Also I gave you a good 1600x900 res screen instead of the 1366x something res. I also gave you a 7200RPM 500GB HDD, so plenty of room for storage. I do recommend you get an SSD eventually. Here's a screenie of the Thinkpad's components:

You'll have to go into the customizer yourself and choose the same things I did, unless you want more. Sorry, it was a bit higher than your budget but looks like a great laptop! I think it was give or take 50 more than you wanted.

When I say Thinkpads are good, that only applies to the T, X, and W series models. Everything else is nothing special, the L series included.

I wouldn't recommend anything like HP, Dell, etc.

HP did well with the DM1Z and some Probooks and Elitebooks and Dell's business-class machines are great. Still, in most respects the Thinkpad line will always best them. Pic related, it's soon to be mine. If not the X230T, then the X220T.
