Yeah you can easily max them out. Like I said you can max out BF3 with ~70 FPS at 1920x1080 resolution plus x4MSAA on and BF3 is a really graphic intensive game so if it can play that with good FPS you know it's a good card. If you list some games I can find you some benchmarks. The card is a beast and will rip through any game out at the moment maxed out.

No, for the money you could build one that is prebuilt and throwing money out the window you do not need a i7 processor.
