1000 dollar budget. I want the best of everything i can get. ANy auggestions welcome.

I agree, i've just updated my PC with:
Intel i7 3770K
MSI Z77 GD-65 MB
16GB RAM -its cheap enough now
120 GB SSD

You'll have to decide on what GFX card (ATI or nVidia)
ATI seems to have better performance for the money, but nVidia has the PhysX HW processing. Tough call...

One company simply does not have better performance for the money in the GPU department.

660 ti - $300.

AMD 7950 - $300.

The only card that's in a semi-sweet spot is a 7850.

A higher end i7 with hyper-threading is completely useless in a gaming build.

You can save $100 and get identical performance and either pocket it or spend it towards a higher end video card.
