Me and my friend are playing minecraft and we made a 47x5x79 room and were not getting any slides can some one join us and help us to tell us what's wrong.

You didn't make it in a slime chunk.

You have to make another one somewhere else and hope its in a slime chunk.

You must first find a slime chunk which you use by using this tool here. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then just dig a 16x16x3 area below layer 16 an you're done.

Lol that is completely wrong, by doing that you're wasting your time since it's like a 15% chance of finding a slime chunk at random, that is if you get lucky.
