Truth be told, this is just the modern style of most cod/gaming graphics right now. Its a big market for us graphics designers and its the style that every channel is paying us to make them.

If you dont like it, go and create a new style and if its any good, people will eventually try to mimick you.

I know this is kind of Late but i just saw this Wonderful post now. I'm going into depth on why this style is BS.

1. Squiinz started it and no he isn't some so called "CC" God. All the CC is is finding 50 unneeded curves and gradient mappings and turning the contrast all the way up. I do agree it is what cod clans are paying for.. But this also goes along with this Bogus Gfx strike that is going on. Why would you affiliate yourself with a sniping clan? Honestly. and no Cod clans do not ask for that specific style they ask for a Good BG... Tired of people saying all clans want is space style.. i'm sorry but on every RC what do they ask for Originality... Meaning something besides Space Bg's normally Rank higher.

2.It's a mimicked and repetitive style and it sickens me that people response to it is " Well it's what's cool right now" I'm sorry but that's pathetic. This would also be implying that Once some Designer finally breaks the Space Phenom... Everyone is going to mimic and ruin the New style... Space Bg's were cool for maybe the first few Weeks then Every goddam bg designer known to man started doing them... And since then designer so called "New styles" that they claim are original are variation of the same rut BG's have been in forever...

If you want to be a respected designer Stop Mimicking and start Creating... ONCE AGAIN COD CLANS DO NOT SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR SPACE STYLE BG'S THEY ASK FOR A NICE LOOKING BG... just normally cod clans are too retarted to know what that is. Now please whoever the 5 year old is that's going to Reply to this saying i'm wrong or "BUT IT"S WHATS COOL" Please wipe the shit from the corners of your mouth..

they all look like a c4d logo some different colours sh*tty overlays and some 2d text that is all. I see very little like minimal difference.
