I'm getting Arma II: Combined Operations (Which is operation arrowhead and the game) and getting the DayZ mod soon, SO i have a few questions I need answered!
1) What Should I Expect Upon Joining My First Game?
2) What Do I need to know?

Join a low player game at first. and expect not to be amazing at finding stuff until you meet a player you will run around with. If you want I can run around with you. Add me on Skype. Smokeman66

you should use dayzdb.com to find your way around to elektro and cherno. those are the 2 main supply cities. I wouldn't bother stopping anywhere along the way unless you see a gun. you should also use dayzcommander to update and join servers. just my tips

Definitely try to find friends to play with, because eventually you'll most likely get bored of playing the game alone (I know I did.) But when all my friends started playing, I found it a lot more enjoyable.
