Cause you don't exactly get much, fair enough it's only cheap but still not much.

You get: gold member badge, coloured name (can change it anytime), ability to change your username once, get a motto, gold members forum and the limit to give someone rep goes up to 50.

had it twice, don't like it to much, there should be more features.
