Ok, so I have a HP Elitebook 8440p and there is a sticker below the keyboard that says Windows 7, like it is installed or something. Instead I have the old XP crap, and not Windows 7. What does this mean?

Im confused

It means someone stuck a Windows 7 sticker on your laptop? Hurr Durr. Someone also could have wiped the windows 7 off of it and installed XP because they liked it better.

Maybe they put the wrong software on your laptop or wrong sticker call the place you bought it from?
