Hey guys I was wandering like how you can use hdmi to hdmi to play xbox on the tv could you apply the same method on a pc monitor using hdmi to hdmi cable and if so how would you do it as I am using a 24inch Dell monitor with windows 7 just if that helps. +20 rep to the person who answer it.

Yes you can if you're laptop and TV both support HDMI. I use my HDMI cable for both my Xbox and laptop. You just need to plug the HDMI into both and change the input mode

There are usually the switchable input modes on either the bottom or sides of the monitor.

EDIT guys I need to know if they is anything like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but instead of dvi output is there one with a hdmi. so it is hdmi ------> hdmi + audio rca cable.

BUMP guys I need help regarding this topic again, basically now I got picture I though of removing the plastic cover on the xbox av cable so I can use the left and right audio cable on the xbox av cable and connect it in the back off my speakers which have the two audio (red and white) inputs but when I connect everything up I can't hear the sound, any solution?
