No. That so called "documentary" was just created to cause hype for slenderman. People fell for it. The same hype was copied from movies like Paranormal Activity, the devil inside, etc.

yep slenderman was made up on somethingawful forums in a competition to make a fake monster and spread it around on conspiracy websites to see if they could get people to belief in it.

I have yet to see the contest page. I've looked all over the internet and on that website. But Slender being created on that website is just as much a rumor as all of the other beliefs.
