In my honest opinion... I think alienware is overpriced, And is not worth what you are paying for.

i disagree i have one.best computer i have owned wicked fast.but i also have a desktop so i dont know what the laptops are like

It's a good laptop, just not at all near the quality it should be for the price paid.

If you're talking about the aliencrap laptops, you're wrong alienware and other "gaming" laptops completely defeat the purpose of what a laptop should be, PORTABLE, that's what they're all made for and making one that weighs 20lbs and is a "gaming beast" is completely pointless, and in my opinion an out right failure in laptops.

Actually the x51 is good. Console sized portable pc. Just because it belongs to alienware doesn't mean it's bad. I was going to get it myself.

Alienwares are overpriced pieces of shit. You could build what's in It for a 1/4 of the price....

You want flashing lights? then add led's onto the fans, It's that easy.. I built my PC for about 1k or so, and an alienware will never be able to match my specs for the same price of what It cost me to build It.

I have to disagree with you partially. They are a good computer, but only if you paid a third of the price. Like Apple, they are very overpriced. Custom built is the way to go

They're not good computers they use no-name Locked CPUs,Mobos, PSUs, RAM, poor airflow, upgrading is hard with a bad case, no overclock ability. Just because they have "I7s" everyone goes nuts because they think they have the best processor, they don't list you any quality parts. So get it out of your head that they are good, they build these things cheap. To sell to dummies thinking they're good. Your paying for a Logo and a Ugly flashy case. I have to agree with the last part tho.
