JailbreakSupport wrote I suggest if you want it for school, work, and NOT gaming, get a Macbook Air.
If you want to do gaming and anything get a macbook pro.
I have a macbook air early 2011 and macbook pro (latest 15 inch) They both run all of the CS6 suite. My macbook air i use for photoshop (as im learning it in school) and i use my macbook pro for gaming and editing videos.
If you need any more help PM Me
From the fact that you said "if you want to do gaming get a Macbook Pro" I would advise OP not to pm you, the Macbook Pro (Retina) is an outstanding laptop, but not for gaming. For that price you could build a monster donkey eating pancake eating gaming rig.

Don't get a Mac at all. With the money you're paying for a Mac, you could get a killer PC or even a, I can't believe I'm about to say this but..., an Alienware.

my macbook pro runs all games that i have on it fine. I also had windows on it and played plenty of games with my dual boot.

I would get the Mac Book Pro. Reason is because it has a Disc Drive. I mean you can purchase a external drive for the Air but I would just purchase it all in one.

I'm not even going to bother with quotes.
"It runs them fine."
That means ABSOLUTELY nothing. If you think 30 FPS in Skyrim on all low settings is "running it," then you are, again, doing it wrong.

Get the Air with the 256 GB SSD. The mechanical drive in the Pro is one of the worst things about it, not to mention the lower-resolution screen.
