so when ever i start my computer up and then choose a user my screen goes black and takes like 5 minutes to load up all my icons and stuff? is there any way i can stop this happening; i have allready done a system restore but that didnt make a difference so yeahh please help me

Sounds like there are a lot of startup items. You could use msconfig, but CCleaner gives you a nicer interface.

Disable unneeded startup items and fix registry issues and it should make a difference! You should also uninstall programs that you don't use.

i allready have ccleaner but it still comes up with a black screen

But it loads eventually, right? Do you use any antivirus programs? For a clean sweep, I would use:

Rkill (this first)
Hitman Pro
Malwarebytes
TDSSkiller
SuperAntiSpyware
ESET Online Scanner

If you need help with any of these, just say the word.

it does after like 5 mins and yeahh i use avg and spybot S&D
