I highly doubt you got banned from this, since there have been thousands of people who have done this method and you're the first of getting banned?

Plus, several days ago you asked people if they could do it for you since you don't know how to do it and don't have access to a computer so maybe the person that recovered your account did something to get you banned.

(One more thing, I'm pretty sure they can't Permanently Ban you from playing Halo: Reach or earning credits.. it's only temp. but I wouldn't know the consequences after 2+ weeks of being temp. banned)

I don't think you do since you're in Campaign doing it, unless you need a Gold Membership to use the Challenge Feature on Waypoint, but I'm pretty sure you won't need one.
