Stealth wroteI understand that but this is what I want, and a 1500 is not what I'm looking for. 104k is not a lot at ALL for a cummins. If you can see the engine is damn clean in the picture if you looked at it and the interior is flawless. The car I have now get 20 city and 22 mpg highway. That truck gets 18 city and 20 mpg highway and anywhere from 20-22 if you chip it or program it. I get that diesel is more expensive but that is what I have wanted.breweyy wroteStealth wrote 104k miles and it's a old truck, why would you pay 17k for it?I'm not going to pay 17k for it. I'm looking to get down to about 15,500.
Just wondering why? You'd need to reserve so much money just for gas, on top of that its 104k miles and it's old. It's so easy to get a cleaned car, a few hundred dollars can get you a brand new looking engine, but what's under it is just really old and used.
I'm just wondering why choose that truck, if you can get a 1500 06 with half less miles for 15k?
Plus it would save gas money, which for that truck is probably a few thousand a year.
