One thing in my life that really just makes me wanna die is the fact that the kids at my school and I'm sure many others don't understand that there is severe consequences to not doing well in school.

When I was in 7th grade, I realized that school needs to be taken very seriously and what I've noticed is that people are more evoked in trying to be "cool" or they go party and do other things. I'm now a senior at my high school that Dual-Enrolls into the college across the street. I know where my life is heading, I've wanted to be a graphic designer and major in it at MIT for a very long time and I set my goal towards that.

My point is that it irks me seeing kids my age just basically throw there lives away. No one thinks about whats going to happen in the future because they are to busy living in the now. I just hope all of them practice saying, "Would you like fries with that?".

I'm a freshman this year and I've been taking it VERY seriously. I slacked off in middle school, but high school really matters for the rest of your future.

Yea, I just don't want people to screw up there future's in a matter of 4 years.
It would suck, I know how it feels because my mom actually never graduated from high school so she doesn't get the best opportunities in life because of that.

I am with you on this one...My GPA could have been soooo much better if I tried harder.

So many regrets.

No one should.
I haven't had one college accept me yet, and I have a 3.94 GPA and am the president of the FFEA. It's not easy to become successful you have to work for it.

how do you know they aren't taking it seriously? why do you care what other people are doing with their lives? maybe you should say something to them if it bothers you.

You get back what you put in.

Those kids who don't take school seriously now will regret it later. Sucks to be them.
