they only spawn in certain areas,so make sure you do this.

1.in the bottom 10 levels of the map

2.theres plenty of light slimes dont spawn near other mobs, so if zombies/skeletons etc are there or nearby slimes wont be

3.if theres none there make sure its on hard (nt sure if this is a requirement or not) and make sure to leave the slime farm and rest till day then wait for night away from the farm dont go in during the day they wont spawn with u around.

4.make multiple farms, making sure they are all well lit i use glowstone blocks its much better than torches and make sure to place them in the floors/roof/walls inside though so they dont stick out

5.make sure all farms are atleast 3 blocks high so that it can support the largest slimes.

6.when they do spawn use only your fist to kill them
