Because on the YouTube App, quite a few videos are flagged not suitable to be shown on there. And on IE that's the actual YouTube site so you can watch whatever videos you desire to.

If I want YouTube ill use the app. But with the new IE I want to be able to stream movies and shows online.

That, and also it's just convenient if you are already on Internet Explorer instead of backing out and loading another app. Youtube's page is a lot better anyway. I like when related videos to the one you just watched pop up. I also like looking at the comment board. The Youtube app needs a major update in my opinion.
