If anything, the idea of the Xbox was a "knock-off" of the PlayStation, because they entered the market because of Sony's success.

Both consoles have pros and cons. But, technically they are pretty much the same.

People are always going to fight over something. So I just go with what I like and that's it. I see no point to argue of a silly topic...

Exactly. People who have xbox and NEVER had a ps3 says ps3 sucks. Same goes for ps3 users. Well I have both so I can Judge whether the system is good. The difference compared. Lets begin

I love the xbox 360 dashboard much better then the ps3.
Reason: Ps3 never updated there dashboard ever since there release date (2007) Xbox release quite the cool updates. Also including Internet Explorer so no more ps3 users saying "Xbox dont have a browser so it sucks"

*Things I hate about xbox/community" I have been threaten that I was going to get hacked more times then my ps3 (I owned a ps3 for 3 years. Xbox for 7 months with gold.)
Meaning the community pretty bullshit. I rarely get that on ps3. Also my xbox constantly over heats and stop making a bunch of noises. (Blame microsoft for there cheap product) Also much easier to scratch your disc on your xbox. Some reason my xbox loves to make tiny scratches on my Disc. Also xbox freezes some times (I have slim) Also xbox batteries really does suck. If I have to choose which system has a better design ps3 wins.

Heres some ps3 opinions.
Ps3 good but it still have the same GUI Or Dashboard look since 2007. Way 2 plain even with a theme. Really hard to communicate with your friends without party chat which xbox have. Really annoying to send text messages while on xbox you can send voice messages. 2 years later with my ps3 my lens burned out so I wasn't able to play any CD games (Hope the xbox isn't like that) Also I prefer the youtube app on xbox then ps3.

I was going to agree with you, then I saw that.

Xbox has better security? This may be true, but you're only saying it because ps3 was hacked. It could of happened to xbox.

I have had both systems, I know what both are like. It's a matter of preference.

Xbox: It's more of a social system. Eg. Parties, easier to talk to people. Private chat.
People say the online is quicker, but I personally see no difference.

Ps3: It's more for the lone wolf experience. I enjoy that. It's cheaper to. Online is free.

Overall: Like I have said before, its a matter of preference. And it pisses me of when you get little xbox fanboys.

Xbox is better for online gaming in ALL aspects and 70% of single player aspects. The PS3 has hardly anything over it in terms of gaming.

But, they both do suck.

dont ps3 sucks no updates and the servers are always down. also they dont get dlc to later and Multi platform games are better on xbox
