Quantum Teleportation is the method by which the quantum states of objects are destroyed and recreated in another position but not the objects themselves.
Quantum Teleportation cannot teleport animate or inanimate matter in their physical entirety [Like in, 'The Fly', before he gets it right].
So, the device creates a new replica of the item and the original item ceases to exist.
[I know it's not exactly teleportation but with further research and funding, it might develop into something usable]
By the way, can someone tell me why 'Teleportation' isn't a recognized word? Or am I spelling it wrong and not realizing?

The replica of a Quantum Computer has been built, and it is all because of the way these sub-atomic particles act. If we can build a machine that can do this, than this is very possible.

Technology and science have evolved so much. I would love to be alive if this ever did become possible, even like a teleportation method that lead to different countries.. That would be insane.

What about different planets or solar systems? That would be insane.

True that be would be insane man. But they haven't even got as far on the planets as to even build a tele pad on there.
(IF this ever was too happen).
A telepad to like the moon would be incredible, imagine like a day trip there lol. "Get your suits on guys were going to get drunk on the moon".

You should be able to learn more about it as you get older
Learning about this stuff is fun, but thinking of what it might allow us to achieve is mind blowing.
The future seems bright for Science.

I'm young, 16 to be exact & understand this with a ease. Took me a few re-readings, but I am constantly thinking thinking of crazy things like this.

sure there is endless possibilities but its not really on the verge of transporting an object but its kinda going to a restoration type of deal here.
you think if it destroys the original object an recreates it somewhere else, that original object is no longer useful.
so lets say something alive whent in that would be recreating life but its hard to think about how that would be possible, if one dies and another is created is the brain and thought process the same? or will it be like a brand new being?
i could be wrong though its just a thought.

No, you're exactly right.
I don't see how it could recreate personality, memories and intelligence of a living thing. We are a long long way from teleporting humans with this method.
It could still be useful when teleporting inanimate objects though.
