They tweeted on September 4th that it's still weeks away.
They are shooting for September but that's not an "official" release date.
Look on the twitter now and you can see for yourself.
If the update is around 3 weeks (sometimes translated into a few) then that would bring us to the very end of September and testing hasn't even started, so releasing the update in 6 days isn't entirely plausible especially since many companies like game studios don't always work on saturdays or sundays.

And either way, they said it's many weeks away.
No confirmed date has been released. It could be the last day of September for all we know. You called someone dumb because they don't follow up on twitter posts every day and take a small mention seriously without an actual date ever posted.
