Well my friends turtle beach began to buzz a while ago and then suddenly stopped working. Volume and chat comes through the headset but when he plugs in his mic wire, he cannot talk.

He recently bought a new mic wire and it had no effect on it of working again.

Anyone had this problem, please reply back.

It could be his controller. Over time plugging and unplugging the mic can "stretch" out the little jack thingymabob. So now when he plugs in his mic the metal is not touching how it should be and he can no longer talk and stuff...

It could be due to some lose wires in the mic or the headset itself, Check if its still under warranty.

The buzzing noise comes from either a plug-in charge lead while playing.
The battery's being low.
Or the controller needs throwing at the wall and a new one. Unless he's damaged the beaches?
