Hi, there just uploading a new upload from my channel, which is a speed progression of me designing the home page of my future portfolio.

This is a basic copy and will be edited and eventually coded so any feedback will be appreciated.

the cursive font makes it look Professional, nicely done. be careful with your placement as if this was a website you would want people to look around with ease. try to keep one/two textures correct me if im wrong but looks to me you have added 3 textures. KIU!

It is alright... some areas really need to be work on though.

The fancy font you have is to fancy to the point that it is barley understandable. The gradients you have on the text are also causing problems. For example 'freelance designer' is quite hard to actually read and make out due to the gradient; specifically the black. As a whole for the text scenario, i suggest changing all their gradients to something more appealing than the dull grey and black. The colour scheme overall seems quite dull.

The bottom half of the design is quite bland and could do with an improvement. Maybe re-size the images as they take up a lot of usable space and add descriptions about each image next to them.

It was a decent attempt, but can improved a lot.

Thanks yeh i see what you mean i don't want to use really vibrant colours as it will detract the attention from the work. When you will go on a website do you look at the background before the contents??
