Instead of that extra TB which you probably wont even need, you should put the $90 into a better monitor (wherever you buy it from). If you look around you might be able to find a good 30", maybe even a 32" if you look hard enough. What's the point in having a good computer if you have a tiny screen to watch it on?!

Hahaha... Well first off, is it pre-built? You put an FX CPU in a 1200$ computer? WAI? Also, a GT 640 won't run hardly any games (especially paired up with GT 640)... Get either an i3-2100, i5-2500k, or i5-3570k. As for the GPU, I would probably go for the 6950, 7850, 7870, 7770 GHZ edition, or GTX 560 ti. Take off 1tb drive, and also get the ASRock extreme 4 mobo.

You want a GDDR5 GPU, not DDR3. And 2tb is too much to be honest, and you should probably go with a better Motherboard like a Asus P8-Z77, and with that get an i5 3570k

There's no point dropping $109 with Win8 round the corner, I'd wait to see how that plays with gaming, although with the consumer preview as my main desktop OS I've ran into no problems with gaming using it. Also, instead of 2x1TB HDD why not get a 60/120GB SSD for your OS and your most used programs and 1 1TB for "other file" storage?

Frankly it's just god-awful for what you'll be paying. If you build your own, you can get something that's infinitely better. If you post here I can help you with a list of parts:

And you can use this to get a rough idea of what your budget can get you. Keep in mind it needs to be updated for this week.

well to start off, a intel core i3 beats the fx series and that graphics card will not be able to play much games at a good resolution.
